About the Open Call

Geraldine O’Neill’s solo exhibition at Kevin Kavanagh Gallery features a range of oil paintings, from the large-scale title work 'Flicker, Flicker, Age of Unreason' to smaller microcosmic ecosystems. The works engage with the concept of the Anthropocene and environmental tipping points, incorporating motifs from 17th-century European painting alongside modern domestic objects and Irish language titles.
