About the Open Call

Creative Music Intensive (CMI) is a two-week program where participants are immersed in the creative process of making and performing music, exploring new approaches and developing individual and collaborative works. Led by Reiko Fueting of the Manhattan School of Music, the program includes faculty from CUNY and MSM. Activities include private lessons, classes, seminars, workshops, and performances. Participants have the opportunity to work with ensembles-in-residence and potentially collaborate with a concurrent filmmaking intensive.

What is Offered

Instruction from world-class faculty, collaboration with ensembles-in-residence, shared or private room accommodation, and access to campus facilities.

Requirements

Open to musicians working in any genre and of all professional levels. Applicants must submit work samples for evaluation.
