The CreArt Artist in Residence in Skopje is part of the CreArt 3.0 Network of Cities for Artistic Creation. The program will host two artists to work at the Cultural Informative Center (KIC). The residency includes access to studio space, equipment, and production support, culminating in an exhibition. The organizers provide travel, accommodation, subsistence costs, and a materials budget for international participants, while local artists receive materials and local travel support.
Coverage of travel and accommodation (for network artists), subsistence costs up to 400 EUR, materials budget up to 500 EUR, and a presentation fee of 375 EUR for the final exhibition.
Artists must be born or resident in CreArt 3.0 network cities (Aveiro, Ceske Budejovice, Kaunas, Liepaja, Lublin, Oulu, Regensburg, Rouen, Clermont-Ferrand, Valladolid, Venice), members of HDLU, or Ukrainian artists associated with Lviv Art Council. One slot is reserved for a resident of Skopje. A degree in arts at university level is preferred. International artists must have valid travel/health insurance.
Applicants must register as an artist on the CreArt website and submit a single PDF including a scanned ID/passport, a CV (short and full versions), a portfolio of art works, a short written project proposal (one A4 page), and relevant graphic documentation through the online application form.
