About the Open Call

Artists from participating CreArt cities or affiliated associations are invited to apply for a 5-week residency in Valladolid from May 18 to June 21, 2026. The residency provides a 25m2 studio at Galerías VA, a 1,500 EUR artist fee, and up to 600 EUR for production costs. Participants are required to work on-site Monday-Friday and will benefit from mentorship, an Open Studio event, and an ephemeral exhibition.

What is Offered

1,500 EUR artist fee, up to 600 EUR for production costs, and travel expenses covered for artists from other network cities.

Requirements

Must have a degree in an artistic field at the university level or demonstrate equivalent professional ability. Must be an artist from the CreArt Network cities, a member of HDLU, or a Ukrainian artist via the Lviv Art Council. European health card or equivalent required.

How to Apply

Applicants must register on the CreArt website, then submit a single PDF containing an ID/passport copy, a short CV, documentation of a project (max 5 pages/5 images), and a brief written project proposal through the online portal.
