About the Open Call

The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo (MAC) of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile opens its call for projects to be included in its 2027-2028 programming. This is the only call for the year 2026. The call considers four axes: temporary exhibitions, the MAC collection, research and criticism, and territorial linkage. Applications can be individual or collective and are open to artists, curators, cultural agents, and collectives with diverse backgrounds. The final definition of space and exhibition calendar is determined by the MAC Editorial Committee.

What is Offered

Inclusion in the MAC 2027-2028 programming and exhibition space at MAC Parque Forestal or MAC Quinta Normal.

Requirements

Applicants must be of legal age, with no restriction on place of residence or nationality. Proposals can be individual or collective. Required documents include a presentation letter, CVs, and a project dossier in a single PDF.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted via the official Google Form available on the museum's website. Applicants must provide a single PDF document containing a signed presentation letter (max 500 words), CVs of the project leads (max 1,000 words), and a complete project dossier.
