About the Open Call
Contrasts is an art contest focused on exploring tensions and harmonies in contemporary art, highlighting dualities such as light and shadow, warmth and coolness, and movement and stillness. The contest brings together works by both emerging and established artists from around the world. Twelve artworks were selected for a final collective exhibition. The contest also offers a personal exhibition prize in Venice, Italy, for the winner. All art categories and techniques are permitted, including paintings, sculptures, mix media, digital graphic, AI generated art, photographies, performances, and installations. The organizing entity is MOHO GALLERY, dedicated to promoting contemporary visual arts and providing opportunities for artists internationally.
What is Offered
Selection for a collective exhibition of 12 artworks, a personal exhibition prize in Venice for the contest winner, and access to a catalogue, invitation, and press release for the final exhibition.
Requirements
Open to emerging and established artists. Maximum artwork size is 2x2 meters.
