About the Open Call

Container Media presents 'Temporary Storage,' identifying liminal phenomena in contemporary culture. The call has two streams: 1.0 focuses on photo-based projects exploring duration for an online exhibition. 1.1 focuses on multi-media works (photography, video, sound, objects, painting, sculpture) for a site-specific exhibition in a Catholic church crypt, examining the space as a place of temporary rest and waiting. The physical exhibition is scheduled for August–September 2026.

What is Offered

Inclusion in an online or site-specific physical exhibition, 3D visualization of the curatorial process, and individual discussion regarding transportation and production support.

Requirements

The open call is open to both existing works and proposals for new projects. Works that can be realized through instructions or digital files are preferred for the physical exhibition. There is no limit to the number of submissions per artist.

How to Apply

Submit materials to hi.container.media@gmail.com via email, WeTransfer, or cloud service. Requirements include JPG images (1500–3000 pixels), artist statement (title, year, medium), bio and CV, and website/social media. For the site-specific exhibition, also include dimensions, installation requirements, and 3D models if available.
