About the Open Call

Seasonality in the Anthropocene is a new initiative that brings together artists and environmental researchers to co-create artistic works exploring how seasons are changing, and what these changes mean for us. Through this collaboration, we aim to bridge environmental art, activism, and academia, opening new avenues for communicating and advocating for climate and environmental action while (re)discovering the deep interconnectedness of humans and nature. The project seeks proposals that represent shifting seasons and feature a strong element of art-science collaboration.

What is Offered

Opportunity for art-science collaboration, co-creation of artistic works, and potential travel support to Kuala Lumpur.

Requirements

Applicants must be artists or collectives whose country of representation or legal residence is within the United Kingdom or Malaysia. Proposals must represent shifting seasons in the Anthropocene and incorporate art-science collaboration.
