About the Open Call

The Connect and Create program, led by the Goethe-Institut and Expertise France in partnership with the Institut français, supports the mobility of performing arts and music professionals. It funds integrated pathways within international events such as festivals, markets, and conventions to promote the discovery of artistic scenes, professional training, and networking. The program emphasizes youth, emerging scenes, and cultural diversity, with a goal of building sustainable, inclusive, and equitable cooperation between Africa and Europe.

What is Offered

Funding for mobility, inclusion in international professional pathways, networking opportunities, and professional development sessions.

Requirements

Open to international organizations and events in Sub-Saharan Africa and the EU. Delegations must consist of at least 8 cultural professionals aged 18+, representing at least 5 to 8 different nationalities depending on the size of the delegation. Projects must focus on performing arts or music and demonstrate a strong international dimension.
