About the Open Call

MAC invites submissions for the 'CONFIGURATIONS' exhibition, which explores connections through groups of connected works or thematic content. Selected artists will have their work featured in the physical gallery, a virtual gallery, and on Artwork Archive. The exhibition runs from December 6, 2025, to February 9, 2026. All media are welcome, and videos or looped presentations are accepted via provided links.

What is Offered

Inclusion in a physical exhibition at Middletown Art Center, feature in the MAC Virtual Gallery, and a proprietary exhibit listing on Artwork Archive for the duration of the exhibit plus at least 3 months.

Requirements

All work must be gallery ready at drop off. 2D works must be framed or have painted edges with hanging wire. Artists must provide links for video works. Pedestals are available for sculptural works upon request. Submission fees are required unless the artist is a MAC professional member.

How to Apply

1. Pay the application fee ($10 per piece or $40 for 4 pieces) via the provided Zeffy link. 2. Submit work details (title, year, media, dimensions) and upload images via the Artwork Archive portal. MAC pro-members may submit up to 8 works for free.
