Fondo Nacional de las Artes and Instituto Nacional de la Música
The National Fund for the Arts (FNA) and the National Institute of Music (INAMU) have launched this call to strengthen the work of orchestras across Argentina. The grant aims to support professional growth by facilitating legal access to essential musical materials and ensuring the correct payment of copyright royalties. Funds must be used specifically for renting or purchasing licensed scores and paying authors' rights for native or naturalized Argentine composers. Selected projects must be executed within 180 days of receiving the funds.
Subsidies up to $1,000,000 ARS. The beneficiary institution must provide at least 25% of the total project resources from non-federal sources.
Open to orchestras based in Argentina with legal status (public, private, or mixed management). Projects must involve the acquisition of scores or payment of copyrights for Argentine works.
Applicants must submit a signed request note addressed to the President of the FNA, detailing the amount and destination of funds. Required documentation includes proof of legal status (personería jurídica), act of appointment of authorities, foundational statutes, and a detailed budget including quotes from music publishers or providers.
