About the Open Call

Our 51st printed issue of AAP Magazine will feature the best projects exploring the theme “Colors.” Life is a stream of colors. Red, blue, yellow, and all the possible combinations in between these primary colors without forgetting black and white surround us everywhere. Send us your images - preferably a cohesive body of work or portfolio - both where colors may not just influence the pictures, but where it may also be the subject solely. The contest is open to any color photography interpretation, from photojournalism, street photography, artistic photography, portrait, nude, landscapes, nature, wildlife, urban, architecture, fashion, fine art or documentary photography. We invite dedicated and passionate photographers from all around the world to share their work in our printed edition. Each issue is central to a specific theme and provides a gallery of inspiring imagery, focusing on each artist with their own experience to share. With an eye towards beauty, quality and novelty, we strive to promote portfolios which stand out for their unique visual signature style and character. Our goal is to help photographers get the exposure we think they deserve and to inspire the others with ideas, projects and goals to help develop their own photography.

What is Offered

$1,000 in cash awards (1st Place: $500, 2nd Place: $300, 3rd Place: $200), winning image(s) or full portfolio published in AAP Magazine #51, extensive press coverage and global recognition. All winners will have their work published in the 51st printed issue of AAP Magazine, a free copy of the magazine, and their portfolio showcased in the Winners Gallery of www.all-about-photo.com. Permanent Exhibition on All About Photo online gallery. International Press Exposure.

Requirements

Open to all individuals age 18 and older, including professional and amateur photographers. Up to 40 images can be submitted. Images must be: No Watermarks, saved as JPEG or JPG, resolution of 72 dpi, Grayscale or RGB profile, layers flattened, digital file should not exceed 2 MB, longest dimension should not exceed 1,200 pixels with a minimum size of 200 pixels. Images previously published in AAP Magazine cannot be submitted again.

If you have not already a profile on All About Photo, you have first to register on our website. Then you will be able to log in and to upload your photos in your gallery. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EDIT YOUR SUBMISSION NOR TO ADD MORE IMAGES AFTER THE PAYMENT HAS BEEN PROCESSED. PLEASE REVIEW YOUR COMPLETED ENTRIES BEFORE PROCEEDING TO PAYMENT.
