About the Open Call
In the Heat of Becoming is the inaugural group exhibition at Collective Z, opening Spring 2026 at 325 Broome Street, New York. The call seeks work that carries heat—emotional, formal, or personal. Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis until all spaces are filled. Selected artists may also be considered for future US art fair participation with the gallery.

Requirements
Artists must be able to ship or deliver works to the gallery in NYC if selected; all shipping and delivery costs are covered by the artist. Selected artists for art fairs are expected to contribute to participation fees.
How to Apply
Complete the online application form, upload an artist bio (max 150 words), an artist statement (max 100 words), an artist CV, and up to 5 artworks. A $30 submission fee is required.
