City of Loveland Art in Public Places
The City of Loveland Art in Public Places program seeks artists for The Art Advocacy Project 2D (TAAP 2D) in the Loveland Public Library’s Central Galleria. This popular public art exhibit is a one-year on-loan program designed to promote regional artists through the public display of their artworks. Selected artworks will be displayed from late March 2026 until late February 2027. Participating artists will receive an honorarium. Since 2022, AIPP has teamed up with the Loveland Poet Laureate committee to showcase poetry inspired by the artwork on display. Selected artists should plan to attend the Artist Talk and Poetry Reading Reception on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
An honorarium of $350.00 and the opportunity for artwork to be listed for sale.
Open to Colorado artists 18 years or older at any stage of their career. Artwork must be two-dimensional (including fiber, charcoal, mixed media, etc.), no larger than 3' x 3', valued at $2,500 or less, and 'ready to hang' with D-ring hardware. Work must be durable for high-traffic display and remain for the full year duration.
Applications must be submitted through the CaFE website. Artists may submit one entry consisting of one image of the artwork.
