About the Open Call

The Circus Residential Network call is aimed at regional contemporary circus artists from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Kosovo. It supports the development of new performances or short forms in their creation phase. The network provides eight distinct venues with varying technical capacities for residencies of up to 15 days.

What is Offered

Travel expenses, accommodation, per diems, residency space, technical support, work-in-progress presentation organization, guided feedback sessions, a dramaturgy lab, production mentoring, and online project proposal education.

Requirements

Open to artists and collectives from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Kosovo. Only works in progress (performances or short forms) are eligible; finished productions are not accepted. Projects are evaluated based on innovation, originality, critical thinking, reflexivity, engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
