About the Open Call

CineMediterra Film Festival is a year-round program in London highlighting a different Mediterranean country with each edition. Screenings feature two feature films and five to six short films from countries such as Greece, Spain, Italy, France, and Turkiye, followed by director Q&As. The festival aims to provide a platform for Mediterranean cinema and foster cultural impact in London.

What is Offered

Hackney Picturehouse Memberships for two short filmmakers from each festival edition, along with surprise gifts from sponsors.

Requirements

Films must be made in a Mediterranean country, relate to Mediterranean culture, or have at least one crew/cast member from the region. Maximum duration for short films is 20 minutes and 150 minutes for feature films.
