Residents choose a focus area such as Blacksmithing, Enamel, Glass Lampworking, Stained Glass, Jewelry/Small Sculpture, Metal Casting, Neon, or Welding. The residency involves approximately 15 hours of work per week in the shop and concludes with a project or exhibition.

Artists must reside in the United States with a tax ID and be present in the Twin Cities for the duration of the residency. Applicants should identify as early-career (2-10 years experience) or mid-career (5+ years experience) and demonstrate specific goals for their residency period.
Applicants must complete the online Google Form application which requires basic contact info, project proposal details, an artist statement, 6-10 work images with an image list, and a CV.
