About the Open Call

Chattanooga State Community College is seeking proposals from artists and artist teams for a permanent outdoor sculpture to mark its 60th Anniversary. The large-scale work will serve as a campus focal point and must embody themes of transformation, creativity, community, and joy. The sculpture should be visually striking and foster engagement and dialogue among the campus community. Artists may propose up to three sculptures.

Artists and/or artist teams may propose up to three sculptures. Proposals must align with the themes of transformation, creativity, community, and joy.
