IMPAKT [Centre for Media Culture]
CODE 2026 is an international programme organised by IMPAKT [Centre for Media Culture] in Utrecht (The Netherlands), in collaboration with Werktank (Leuven, Belgium) and Privacy Salon / CPDP (Brussels, Belgium). We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds to collaborate on projects that raise awareness and catalyse change around contemporary digital issues. Selection is driven primarily by motivation, so lack of experience is not a disqualifier — curiosity and commitment matter most.
Participants receive a stipend conditional on full participation, mentorship, and support to build interdisciplinary projects.
Full attendance is mandatory for all sessions (April 25, May 2, May 9 or 16, May 23, June 6, June 13 or 20, and June 27) and the final Hackathon from July 10–12, 2026. Participants must be willing to camp or provide their own accommodation for the hackathon.
Candidates must complete the Tally application form by providing personal details, a short bio, keywords of interest, key skills, and a statement of motivation regarding their interest in digital issues.
