Fondation Camargo
Selected fellows receive a 10-week residency, a stipend of €350 per week, and travel support for basic transportation to and from Cassis. Residents are provided with accommodation on the Camargo campus, including furnished apartments and access to shared facilities such as studios, a reference library, a conference/music room, and an open-air theater. The program also organizes community activities, resident-led sessions, and public open studio events.
The fellowship is open to artists, scholars, and thinkers from around the world. Artist applicants must have at least five years of professional practice and demonstrate a mature artistic voice. Eligible disciplines include visual arts, choreography, theatre directing, performance, writing and playwriting, film and video, digital arts, composition and sound art, and multidisciplinary practices. Scholars should focus on French or Francophone cultures or Mediterranean-related studies, while thinkers include professionals engaged in critical cultural work such as curators, critics, journalists, or independent researchers.
