About the Open Call

Reciprocal Gestures is a two-day festival of expanded dance and movement scheduled for 13-14 June 2026. Two commissions are available for artist duos to develop and share new work. The festival also includes performances, roundtable discussions, and workshops.

What is Offered

Each commissioned duo receives a £1000 fee per artist, travel/accommodation costs, a £300 production budget, 5 days of in-kind studio space, technical support, and industry mentorship.

Requirements

Artists at any stage of their practice. At least one artist in each pair must be Welsh or Wales-based. Movement must be the focus of the collaboration.
