About the Open Call

Second Hand Dance is looking for dancers to join the company in developing their new show – Water (working title) and for future national & international touring of our existing productions and ongoing projects. Water is our third durational immersive dance performance for disabled, neurodivergent children and their families. Seeking dancers with strong contemporary technique, nuanced musicality, touring experience, devising/partner-work skills, and experience interacting with young children (ages 0-7).

What is Offered

Professional dance performance and touring opportunity with a disabled-led company.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years' professional experience creating, touring, and performing dance work. Experience performing for and interacting with young children is welcome. Strong contemporary dance technique, partnering skills, and sensitivity to working with diverse groups of children and adults required.
