About the Open Call

Artists' Drawings is a magazine that publishes drawings made by artists, focusing on how drawing develops and articulates ideas. We accept a broad interpretation of drawing including exploratory sketches, studies, diagrams, or instructions. New for Issue #2, we invite short text submissions discussing drawing practices, critiques, or exhibition reviews related to drawing. Selected submissions will be published in print in Summer 2026.

What is Offered

Selected contributors will have their work published in print and receive a free copy of the magazine.

Requirements

Visual works must be the submitter's own or copyright-owned. Texts must be original, under 750 words, and not previously published.

How to Apply

Submissions should be made via the Google Forms provided on the website. Visual submissions require high-resolution (300dpi) JPEGs. Text submissions must be original, under 750 words, and submitted via the designated text submission form.
