Call for Proposals BMCA Theatre 2026–2027 Season

About the Open Call

BMCA provides exceptional, creative, and diverse theatrical productions. For the 26-27 season, they are accepting proposals for shows running between September 2026 and May 2027. Producing groups are responsible for rehearsals, costumes, props, and tech staff, while BMCA manages ticket sales, front-of-house, marketing design, and initial royalty costs. After expenses and a $100 support fee per show, ticket sales are split 70% to the producing group and 30% to BMCA.

What is Offered

70% share of net ticket sales, venue use for production week, marketing and design support, and up to $1000 coverage for royalty costs.

Requirements

Application must be submitted as a single document (PDF or Word) under four pages. Producing groups must handle off-site rehearsals, sets, costumes, and tech staff.

Submit a single attachment (Word or PDF) no more than four pages total to John@BlackMountainarts.org. The proposal must include a project summary, rationale, marketing plan, royalty cost research, resume or bio, and audition plans.
