About the Open Call

videoclub is curating three new Queer Night Watch outdoor film trails, taking place in February and March 2026, with film & video works projected onto buildings around the town of Shoreham (UK). Work will also be shown as part of an exhibition and cinema screening in Worthing. The call is open to LGBTQIA+ artists and filmmakers from the UK and internationally. Works can include artists’ film, video & moving image, experimental film, short film, documentaries, Machinima, animation, or digital works. Films do not have to have LGBTQIA+ content, as the platform aims to promote the varied perspectives of these artists.

What is Offered

An inclusive screening fee of £150 GBP will be paid to the filmmaker if work is selected for the programme (film trail, exhibition, and cinema screening).

Requirements

Films must be between 2 and 5 minutes long. Work must be in high-resolution digital format (1080p / HD). Films in languages other than English must have English subtitles. Content must be suitable for public/outdoor exhibition for all ages. Artists must identify as LGBTQIA+.

How to Apply

Submit via the Google form at https://forms.gle/T8pCjjqby6kjw6mb8. Applicants must include a short biography and can submit an unlimited number of works (one form per submission).
