About the Open Call

Gifts of Art is seeking 2-D and 3-D artwork for its rotating gallery program designed to support the healing process. The program displays over 30 exhibits per year across nine galleries. Artwork should reflect a welcoming environment of care, amplify voices, and reflect the community served by Michigan Medicine. Individual artists must submit a minimum of 20 images; group shows require a minimum of 30 images.

What is Offered

Opportunity to exhibit artwork in a professional medical center gallery setting for the 2026/27 exhibition year.

Requirements

Original artwork only. Artists must provide enough work to fill an entire gallery site. Artists are responsible for delivery and shipping costs to and from Michigan Medicine.

How to Apply

Submit application via the online Submittable portal. Must provide a brief description and a minimum of 20 images (individual) or 30 images (group) of original artwork.
