About the Open Call

Gifts of Art brings the world of art and music to Michigan Medicine at the University of Michigan. Our nine 2-D and 3-D galleries throughout the medical center are viewed by thousands of people each day and display over 30 exhibits per year. The program seeks artwork that welcomes, amplifies voices, and reflects the diverse community served at Michigan Medicine.

What is Offered

Exhibition opportunities in nine 2-D and 3-D galleries throughout the medical center for the September 2026 to August 2027 season.

Requirements

Original artwork only. Individual artists must submit at least 20 high-quality images; group shows must submit at least 30. Accepted artists must provide enough work to fill an entire gallery and are responsible for delivery and shipping costs.

How to Apply

Submit via the online platform provided by Submittable. Applicants must include a brief description of the proposed exhibit and upload a minimum of 20 images for individuals or 30 images for group shows.
