About the Open Call

The Courthouse Gallery presents 6–8 exhibitions annually. The gallery's mission is to provide solo exhibition opportunities to artists with a preference for work created within the last two years and for experimental or non-traditional work. All submissions are reviewed by a jury of three professionals in the field.

What is Offered

Selected artists receive a $400 exhibition stipend plus an additional $100 stipend from the Laura Von Rosk Legacy Fund, totaling $500, paid at the conclusion of the exhibition.

Requirements

Artists must be 18 years of age or older. Preference is given to work created within the last two years and to experimental or non-traditional work. Incomplete applications or those sent via email or social media will not be accepted.

How to Apply

Apply through the Submittable portal. Applicants must create an account and submit 10 to 12 images (JPG or TIFF format), a Resume/CV, and an Artist Statement/Bio.
