About the Open Call

Beauty is subjective in the eye of the viewer. True innovation and creative brilliance often occur when individuals question or break away from established norms. How does your work depict or challenge the concept of beauty? The Beauty in Decay is an international open call for photographers. All forms of two-dimensional images, traditional and non-conventional media, and conventional or alternative photographic processes with a subjective analog or digital photographic base are welcome for submission.

What is Offered

Selection of approximately 35 images for an online exhibition, exposure through social media and exhibition catalogs, and potential sales with a 70/30 commission split in favor of the artist.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. All submissions must be original and completed by the artist's hand; work created or altered with artificial intelligence is strictly prohibited. Submissions must be two-dimensional with a photographic base.

How to Apply

Submit up to three images per entry via the online entry form. Images should be named in the format: firstname_lastname_title_-_01.jpeg and must be at least 1200 pixels on the longest side and a minimum size of 500kb.
