About the Open Call
This exhibition explores the material qualities of art that invite touch—both real and imagined—ranging from smooth to rough and layered to ephemeral. The show seeks artworks that highlight the sensory experience of texture through surface and materiality. A unique aspect of this exhibition is the request for selected artists to provide a small sample piece of their material (if conducive) for visitors to safely handle, bridging the gap between audience and object in a gallery setting.

The opportunity to be featured in a juried group exhibition in May 2026.
Requirements
Artists may submit up to 3 pieces for consideration. Selected artists are asked to provide a small sample piece of their work's material that can be safely handled by gallery visitors to provide a tactile experience.
How to Apply
Artists must apply online via the Airtable application form. Submissions are limited to 3 pieces per artist for consideration.
