Call for Artists: the International Exhibition “Drawing Now 2026”

About the Open Call

CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the International Exhibition, 'Drawing Now 2026.' The exhibition is open to a wide range of drawing-based works, including digital drawings, animated/moving drawings, video documentation of drawing performances, interactive drawings, drawings on paper, mixed media, physical prints, and three-dimensional drawings. Selected digital works may be printed on foam poster board by the museum, while physical and video works have specific installation and shipping guidelines.

What is Offered

Exhibition opportunity at CICA Museum, curation and installation support for digital works, and provision of projectors/media players for video works.

Requirements

Artists are responsible for shipping physical works. Two-dimensional works should be no larger than 1 meter on the longest side. Installation pieces must not exceed 1x1x2 meters. Wall-mounted works must not exceed 10 kg. Selected artists must pay a contribution fee of $78 USD per piece for processing and maintenance.

Email up to 3 direct links to video and/or up to 5 JPG images (100-500KB recommended) and a bio to submission@cicamuseum.com. The subject line must follow the format: 'Submission: Drawing Now 2026 – Category – Artist’s Name'.
