About the Open Call

NAFAS is a month-long festival in Tokyo (September 2026) where art and food share the same table. The Tokyo edition invites artists of all disciplines to think alongside the body and the lifecycle of food—from cultivation to consumption and waste. The festival serves as both an exhibition and a gathering, featuring new and existing works, community events, cooking classes, performances, and more. This is a collaborative project between The Invisible Dog (NYC) and BUoY Arts Center (Tokyo).
