CICA Museum
CICA Museum invites young artists worldwide, ages 14 to 22, to participate in the “International Youth Art Competition and Showcase 2026.” Selected artists will receive a digital certificate, with a printed copy available for in person pickup. Selected works including photographs, prints, paintings, video art, sculptures, and installations will be presented in a group exhibition at the CICA Museum. The exhibition dates are May 6 – 24, 2026 (dates subject to change). Categories include Photographs & 2D Digital Art, Video & Interactive Art, and Painting, Sculpture & Installation Art. Installation guidelines detail printing and framing for 2D works (with optional larger sizes for additional fees), projector provision for video/interactive art (with potential additional fees for exclusive or multiple projectors), and artist responsibility for shipment and expenses for physical works. Two-dimensional works should not exceed 39 inches (1 m) on the longest side. Installation pieces should not exceed 39×39×79 inches (1×1×2 m, w×l×h). Wall-mounted works should not exceed 10 kg. Exceeding these limits requires prior indication in the submission email.
Selected artists will receive a digital certificate (with a printed copy available for in person pickup) and have their selected works presented in a group exhibition at the CICA Museum.
Artists worldwide, ages 14 to 22, are eligible. Submissions require up to 3 direct links to video works and/or up to 5 JPG images, along with a bio. Each artist may submit up to 5 works. Once a work is accepted, the artist must provide a proof of age document (such as a birth certificate) and, if under 18 years of age, a signed Parent/Guardian Consent Form. Artists are responsible for shipment and return of physical works and related expenses, as well as potential additional fees for larger prints or exclusive projectors.
Artists should send up to 3 direct links to video works and/or up to 5 JPG images, along with their bio. Each artist may submit up to 5 works. Submissions must be emailed to: submission@cicamuseum.com. The subject line should be: “Submission: International Youth Art – Category – Artist’s Name.” To complete the submission, a $35 USD entry fee is required. Artists must provide their PayPal email address and transaction time in the submission email. For Korean currency payments, 49,000 Won can be paid via PayApp, and the phone number and transaction time should be included. The submission is finalized upon receipt of the entry fee, which is non-refundable.
