Call for Artists: International Exhibition “Breath 2026”

About the Open Call

CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in the International Exhibition “Breath 2026.” The exhibition explores themes related to life, environment, politics, welfare, air pollution, fine dust, radioactive contamination, health, and the pandemic. Accepted categories include Painting, Drawing, Print, Sculpture, Installation Art, Photography, 2D Digital Art, Video, and Interactive Art. Selected photography and 2D digital art will be printed and framed by the museum (additional fees for larger sizes may apply). Video and interactive art will have projectors and DVD/DIVX players provided, with special requirements possibly incurring extra fees. Artists are responsible for the shipment and delivery of their physical works (Painting, Sculpture, Installation Art) to and from the CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses, with specific size and weight limits. The exhibition runs from July 29 – August 16, 2026. Artists are required to pay a show processing and maintenance fee if selected.

What is Offered

Artists are offered the opportunity to exhibit their work at the CICA Museum as part of the International Exhibition 'Breath 2026'. For photography and 2D digital art, printing and framing services are provided by the museum. For video and interactive art, projectors and players are supplied.

Requirements

Artists must submit up to 3 video links or 5 JPG images (100-500 KB each) and a bio. Physical works have size restrictions: 2D works up to 1m on the longest side, installation pieces up to 1x1x2m, and wall-mounted works up to 10kg. Artists are responsible for shipping costs for physical works. A USD 75 show processing and maintenance fee per work is required if selected.

Please send up to 3 links to videos and/or up to 5 JPG images (recommended size: 100–500 KB per image), along with your bio. Please email them to submission@cicamuseum.com. In the subject line of your email, please write: “Submission: Breath 2026 – Category – Artist’s Name.”
