Call for Artists: Abstract Mind 2026: the 11th International Exhibition on Abstract Art

About the Open Call

CICA Museum invites artists from around the world to participate in “Abstract Mind 2026,” the 11th International Exhibition on Abstract Art. We welcome works in photography, 2D digital art, video art, interactive art, painting, sculpture, and installation that explore abstraction, Abstractivism, and the expression of the mind and abstract concepts. The categories include: Painting, Drawing, and Print; Sculpture & Installation Art; Photograph & 2D Digital Art; Video & Interactive Art. Selected works will be printed in standard sizes (10 × 15 inches or 10 × 10 inches), framed, and installed by curators and assistants. Artists are responsible for shipment and delivery of physical works. Exhibition Dates: April 15 – May 3, 2026. The dates are subject to change.

What is Offered

Opportunity to exhibit at CICA Museum, with curatorial and installation support for selected works. Selected artists' work (photography/2D digital art) will be printed and framed. Projectors and DVD/DIVX players will be provided for video/interactive art. Artists gain international exposure through the 11th International Exhibition on Abstract Art.

Requirements

Artists from around the world are invited. We welcome works exploring abstraction, Abstractivism, and the expression of the mind and abstract concepts. Specific categories include Painting, Drawing, Print, Sculpture, Installation Art, Photography, 2D Digital Art, Video, and Interactive Art. For physical works, two-dimensional works should not exceed 39 inches (1 m) on the longest side. Installation pieces must be no larger than 39 × 39 × 79 inches (1 × 1 × 2 m, width × length × height). Wall-mounted works must not exceed 10 kg in weight. Artists interested in exhibiting work exceeding these limits should mention it in their submission email. Artists are responsible for the shipment and delivery of their physical works to and from CICA Museum, including all related expenses. For video and interactive art, artists should specify if exclusive projection or more than two projectors/monitors are required, as additional fees may apply.
