Brushwood Center
It seems that every day, we are being bombarded with messages of fear. Though some of these messages are real and require our immediate attention, it is difficult to know which ones to pay attention to and which ones to let fade into the background. All of this noise is taking a toll on our mental health, and it is so important, perhaps now more than ever, to take a moment to rest. Brushwood Center is seeking submissions for a group art exhibition on the themes of rest, regeneration, relaxation, self care, and taking time for mental health. All mediums are welcome, including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, video, and poetry. Work created using AI will not be permitted. Performing arts may also be considered for inclusion during special events like the opening reception. Each artist may submit a maximum of three works. There is no fee to submit. Artwork can be for sale (with a 15% commission to Brushwood Center in the event of a sale) or not, at the discretion of the artist. Eligible artists must be over the age of 18. Exhibition Dates: March 1 – April 5, 2026. Opening Reception: Sunday, March 1, 2026 · 1-3pm.
