About the Open Call

RoCo invites artists to propose three images for a temporary public art installation. Projects that connect visitors to the location, community, or history of the neighborhood, challenge passersby, and address social or political issues are of particular interest. Selected images are printed on weather-safe material (approx 9' h x 6' w) and exhibited 24/7 for 4-6 months. Production and installation costs are covered by RoCo.

What is Offered

$400 stipend and use fee for exhibiting preexisting images; production and installation costs are covered by RoCo.

Requirements

Proposals must be for three images in vertical (portrait) format. If selected, high-resolution files (12,000 px h x 8,000 px w) are required.

How to Apply

Submit a single PDF via email to info@rochestercontemporary.org containing contact information, resume/CV, a project proposal (up to 500 words), and three vertical (portrait) format images with title, date, and caption information.
