Delegation of the European Union to Jordan
The Delegation of the European Union to Jordan, in partnership with the Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts under the JAR Program, invites emerging photographers for an immersive artistic experience. The residency includes fieldwork, masterclasses, and mentoring sessions. It aims to foster collaboration between EU and Jordanian artists and explores stories of belonging. The program culminates in a public group exhibition where sales proceeds support a local Jordanian non-profit.
Daily stipend of 60 JOD for expenses, return travel tickets for those outside Amman, visa processing, accommodation, masterclasses, production support, and participation in a group exhibition at a national gallery.
Emerging photographers aged 22–35 who are citizens of Jordan or EU Member States. Applicants must provide a strong portfolio, demonstrate interest in intercultural dialogue, and have good proficiency in English (and/or Arabic for Jordanians). Participants must bring their own camera equipment and laptop.
Submit a portfolio, artist statement (max 300 words), CV, contact details, and date of birth in PDF format to factory@nationalgallery.org with the email subject 'People, Land, Memories – Application 2025' by 20 December 2025.
