About the Open Call

The Bedford’s annual juried exhibition, CALeidoscope: Evolving Reflections of California, explores the Golden State’s identity from its natural beauty (beaches, deserts, redwoods) to its role as a leader in creativity and innovation. Juried by Juan Omar Rodriguez (San José Museum of Art) and Amanda Sroka (ICA Los Angeles), the show invites artists across the United States to submit works that reflect the geography and spirit of California. The exhibition will run from July 11 through September 13, 2026, with an opening party on July 11.
