Bundaberg Regional Galleries (incorporating Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery and Childers Arts Space) invites proposals from established, mid-career and emerging artists seeking to present their work in a professional gallery environment. Applications are for scheduling in 2027. Selection is based on artistic excellence, innovation, audience engagement, and relevance to regional identity and narrative.

What is Offered

Successful applicants receive a gallery space for an exhibition in 2027. Options include a loan fee (based on NAVA recommendations) or the ability to sell artwork with a 25% commission.

Requirements

Applicants must be artists. Proposals must address a clear curatorial concept, theme, and description of the exhibition space. Must provide biography, CV, and up to 10 images of artwork. Must have legal right to loan artworks.
