Chicago Urban Art Retreat Center
The Chicago Urban Art Retreat Center will host 'Brown & Black Artists Together' at the Liz Long Gallery from February 14 to March 28, 2026. This exhibition features wall art (limited to 30 inches in any direction) by Black and Brown artists. The event schedule includes an opening reception on February 14, a Sunday Brunch & Discussion on February 15, and an International Women’s Day Brunch on March 8, culminating in a Spring Equinox celebration on March 21. Artists are required to participate in the associated discussions and activities.
Exhibition opportunity at the Liz Long Gallery, participation in public programming including brunches and themed discussions, and potential for art sales.
Open to Black and Brown artists. Submissions are restricted to wall art only, which must not exceed 30 inches. Selected display-ready art must be delivered to the gallery between February 1 and February 5, 2026. Artists are responsible for transporting their work to and from the gallery.
