Brookside Community Improvement District
Celebrating its 40th year, the Brookside Art Annual is the first major art show of the year in the Midwest and is consistently ranked among the top 25 shows nationally. The event takes place in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City and emphasizes original artist-produced work. The show features a blind jury process and provides extensive artist amenities including 24-hour security, booth sitters, and meals delivered to booths. Categories include clay, digital, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and wood.

All work must be original and produced by the exhibiting artist; no mass-produced items, kits, or commercial methods are permitted. Artists must be physically present for the entire 3-day show. Booths must be 10x10 and properly weighted for outdoor conditions. Emerging artists are not eligible for this specific application.
Artists must apply through the ZAPP application system by creating an account and submitting up to five applications. A picture ID is required for artist check-in.
