Bydgoszcz City of Music UNESCO
Bydgoszcz City of Music UNESCO offers a collaborative residency program designed to support international creative networks. Two selected musicians will work together for three weeks in Bydgoszcz, developing a joint project. The program aims to provide space away from the music industry's fast pace, facilitating meaningful artistic exchange. Residents are expected to engage with the local music community through meetings and a public concert presenting their outcomes. Depending on project needs, recording studio time may also be available.
Each resident receives a 500 EURO honorarium, travel reimbursement up to 300 EURO, shared accommodation, a dedicated workspace, and potential recording studio hours.
Applicants must be experienced musicians aged 21 or over, residing in the European Union (excluding Poland). They must apply as a duo with a partner they have not previously collaborated with, submitting a joint project concept.
Applications must be submitted in English to residencies@bydgoszczmusic.pl. The subject line must follow the format: Residency application _ May / June _ Full Names. The application package must include short bios/CVs, at least two selected works (audio/video links), a letter of intent with an initial project plan, a completed application form, promotional photographs, and a signed GDPR consent form.
