About the Open Call
Black and white photography contest open to all interpretations of monochrome photography. Applicants must submit a cohesive body of work or photographic portfolio, consisting of at least 3 images connected by subject, style, or idea. Winners receive cash prizes, publication in the 58th printed issue of AAP Magazine, and global exposure. Entries are evaluated on creativity, originality, and visual/emotional impact.
What is Offered
$1,000 in cash prizes, publication in AAP Magazine Vol. 58, featured placement in the online Winners Gallery, and international press coverage.
Requirements
Applicants must be 18+ years old. Submissions must be a series of at least 3 images. AI-generated images are not permitted. Specific technical file requirements apply (JPEG, 72dpi, max 2MB). Early bird pricing ends May 15, 2026.
