About the Open Call

Camelback Gallery's Best in Medium 2025 is an open call for artists, 18 years and older, to submit artwork in various styles and subject matter for their annual juried competition. Artists must select their medium category at the time of entry. Separate entry forms are required for multiple art pieces or different categories. Awards for the exhibition will be based on originality, quality of work, and technical skill. Only award recipients will be featured in the online group exhibition. The selection of artwork will be juried by Kassandra Kaye, Founder and managing editor of Camelback Gallery. Awards will be announced on or before September 7, 2025.

What is Offered

Awards include: Virtual Award Exhibition, Eblast Announcement, Instagram and Facebook promotion of BEST Overall in each category, group mention of all award recipients on Facebook, Art Week announcement of all award recipients, Award Certificates. Placements include: BEST Overall in each category, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category (based on number of entries), Merit Awards in each category (based on number of entries), and Finalists in each category (based on number of entries). Additional placements may be added based on the number of entries.

Requirements

Open to artists 18 years and older. Artwork accepted in all styles and subject matter. Must choose a medium selection at the time of entry.

How to Apply

Artists must complete an entry form, choosing their medium selection. If entering more than one art piece or different categories, separate entry forms must be completed for each piece. Enter the competition via the provided link.
