About the Open Call

The Belgrade Art Studio residency is open to creatives over the age of 18 regardless of nationality. The program offers two studio options: GRAND Studio for spacious needs and PETIT studio for writers, curators, and those requiring less space. Residencies range from three weeks to six months. The organization emphasizes a professional level of commitment and a willingness to interact with the local community. While participants are generally expected to contribute financially, one full-week fellowship is awarded annually, and financial aid packages covering up to 40% of costs are available. The studio facilities are not currently handicap accessible. Pets and family members are permitted for an additional fee or free of charge respectively.

What is Offered

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, proficient in English, and submit a complete portfolio and artist statement. Facilities are not handicap accessible.

Interested applicants must complete the online application form, including personal data, a 500-word motivation statement, a current resume, a 500-word artist statement, work samples (5 images, 3 video links, or writing/research samples), an artist photo, and preferred residency dates.
