About the Open Call

Belgrade Art Studio announces an Open Call for an Online Residency selecting 4-8 artists per group. Over 4 weeks, participants create artworks responding to specific themes ('artist on Standby' or 'Art and AI'). The program includes weekly meetings, collaboration with peers and advisors, and progress documentation on social media. It aims to help artists overcome creative blocks, build international networks, and access specialized audiences through a final live-streamed online viewing and round table forum.

Requirements

Open to artists, curators, and thinkers from backgrounds including visual arts, music, theatre, dance, film, writing, design, photography, digital/interactive art, gaming, fashion, and architecture. Ability to collaborate in English is preferred. Requires a computer/phone and internet connection.
