Fringe Arts Bath
Fringe Arts Bath (FaB) presents the 13th annual Bath Open Art Prize (BOAP 2025), an international open call welcoming visual artists at any stage of their career from across the globe. Submissions are accepted across all genres and mediums, including video, painting, photography, textile, digital, print, 3D, small installations, and performance. An exhibition of selected works, judged by Dr. Lucy Gundry and Patrizia Ribul, will take place at 44AD artspace in Bath, UK, from October 16 to November 1, 2025. This prize also serves as a fundraiser for FaB, supporting its annual visual arts festival.
Selected works will be exhibited at 44AD artspace in central Bath, UK, from Thursday, October 16, to Saturday, November 1, 2025. Prizes include a 1st Prize of £750 cash, a 2nd Prize of £250 cash, and a People's Choice award of £50 art vouchers. Additionally, a solo exhibition opportunity is provided by 44AD artspace in their basement gallery.
The Bath Open Art Prize (BOAP) is open to all artists worldwide, of all ages, working across all disciplines. All works submitted must be original. Artists will be informed of selection status by September 27. Very large works may be subject to discussion regarding display. Artists are responsible for transportation and insurance of their works. All works must be delivered ready for hanging; unframed canvases can be hung on stretchers, while framed works require D-rings and string. Videos must be submitted via link, with the file sent if selected. All work must be clearly labelled with the artist’s name, contact details, title, medium, and price (if for sale).
