About the Open Call
Short films, either animation or live action, in the science fiction, fantasy or horror categories are desired. Films are typically from 5 to 15 minutes in length, with a maximum of 20 minutes. The festival runs for approximately 4 hours, screening around 20-24 films. Certificates are awarded to the top three films in each category based on audience voting. The event is held in downtown Baltimore as part of the annual Balticon convention.

Public screening at the festival and award certificates for top-voted films.
Requirements
Films must be under 20 minutes long. Non-English films must include English subtitles. Upon acceptance, a projection mp4 version must be provided. Genres are limited to science fiction, fantasy, or horror.
