Junior Ballet Project (JBP)
The Junior Ballet Project (JBP) by Opinion Public is an intensive program designed for dancers aged 17 to 25. It serves as a launchpad into professional life, immersing dancers in a company-like environment that nurtures technical excellence, artistic expression, and creative collaboration. Founded in September 2024 by the company’s artistic director, Sidonie Fossé, this professional training program offers daily training from Monday to Friday. Throughout the year, dancers also take part in performances, giving them regular opportunities to appear on stage and apply their skills in front of an audience. Curriculum Highlights include: Ballet, Contemporary, Partnering, Choreographic creation, Improvisation, Composition, Acrobatics, Performance series, Pilates & body conditioning, Arts entrepreneurship, Breaking, Theatrical expression, Repertoire from Opinion Public and the Junior Ballet Project. Each season, the JBP also welcomes internationally renowned guest teachers for workshops and masterclasses. They are looking for dancers with a solid foundation in classical and contemporary techniques. Strong skills in improvisation, floor work, and the ability to collaborate with choreographers in new creation processes. Criteria: High level in classical and contemporary dance; 17-25 years old.
